It was a time for farewells Monday in a heartbroken New England town.

Hundreds of mourners gathered at Newtown’s only funeral home for the wake of 6-year-old Jack Pinto, who lay in a tiny casket in a New Giants jersey bearing the number 80 of his favorite player, Victor Cruz.
